ComeBack leaves Heretics before the match against Liquid

Team Heretics replaces ComeBack with Koshmaras after the defeat to Natus Vincere

Ahead of the second week of VCT 2026: EMEA Stage 1, a change has taken place in the Team Heretics roster. The Spanish organization announced the replacement of Berkcan ComeBack Şentürk with Martynas Koshmaras Namikas. The reason was the team’s poor run, including a loss to Natus Vincere in the opening round of the group stage. Already today, April 9, the newcomer will appear in the match against Team Liquid.

Together with ComeBack, Team Heretics were unable to show convincing results. At VCT 2026: EMEA Kickoff the team finished in sixth place overall, and in the first round of VCT 2026: EMEA Stage 1 they lost to Natus Vincere with a score of 1:2. This defeat apparently sped up the decision to make a substitution. One of the key problems the team faced was the language barrier. Being from Turkey, ComeBack had difficulties with English, which regularly led to misunderstandings. ComeBack left the main roster, and his place was taken by Lithuanian player Koshmaras.

Martynas Koshmaras Namikas joined Team Heretics on April 8. He spent most of the year with 6GPA, competing on the regional DACH scene. On April 6 he moved to DNSTY, and just two days later signed a contract with Team Heretics.

In the first months of 2026, Koshmaras had already managed to prove himself in VALORANT Challengers 2026 DACH: Evolution Stage 1. In the main stage of Challengers, his team finished in 5–6th place after a 0:2 loss.
